Philadelphia Eagles running back Ryan Mathews was listed as a full participant in practice on Friday, according to Tim McManus of Philly Mag.
Ryan Mathews practices fully on Friday, has fantasy value as a flex
The Eagles will likely dress a key component of their running game on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mathews was limited Wednesday and absent on Thursday due to a groin injury, but returning at full capacity on Friday bodes well for his availability.
Though he is officially listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 9, it is likely that the Eagles will deploy their usual three-headed attack with Mathews, DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles.
Fantasy impact: The biggest obstacle for Mathews’ owners isn’t his health in 2015, but it’s his maddening usage. Mathews has been far and away more effective in the ground game than Murray, yet continues to see fewer snaps and carries.
According to head coach Chip Kelly, it was Mathews’ groin injury that prevented him from seeing an extended look in Week 7 after breaking a 63-yard touchdown run, so it’s possible he gets more opportunities with a clean bill of health.
Until Mathews sees more touches, he can’t be considered anything other than a middling flex option in standard leagues for Week 9.
