Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry was downgraded to limited participation at Friday’s practice so that he could have time to nurse his knee injury, according to beat writer Andrew Abramson. Landry caught just two passes for 5 yards against the Baltimore Ravens last week.
Jarvis Landry downgraded at practice Friday, still in line for fantasy start
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry was downgraded to limited status at Friday’s practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: While the fact Landry’s status received a downgrade on Friday might cause fantasy owners to sound the alarm bells, the Dolphins are likely just managing his reps and giving him some rest.
Landry can be a big-time performer especially in PPR leagues, because he usually sees a high volume of targets from week to week. Last week was an exception and not the rule. He was targeted just five times by quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but it should be noted that Tannehill attempted just 19 passes in a game that saw running back Lamar Miller do most of the work via the ground game.
Landry should be ready to make his usual start against the New York Giants in Week 14. He normally sees double digits in targets, so although the yardage total won’t always be high, the looks will be there.
