Karlos Williams misses practice again, likely sitting out another fantasy contest
Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams is still dealing with a shoulder injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Teammate LeSean McCoy is averaging over 22 touches a game since the team’s Week 8 bye, so while Williams appeared to be cutting into McCoy’s fantasy value early in the year, it remains to be seen what role Williams will play at this point even when he is ready to return.
For now it’s obvious that the workhorse running back in Buffalo is McCoy, and at least for another week, it appears that fantasy owners don’t have to worry about Williams being the handcuff. The best thing to do right now is to bench Williams and hold onto him just in case he’s ready in time for the fantasy postseason next week. McCoy owners, on the other hand, should be itching to start Shady as he’ll continue to see volume as the team’s feature rusher until then.
