Buffalo Bills wide receivers Andre Davis and Deonte Thompson have both performed well at training camp, according to ESPN’s Mike Rodak. Both receivers are fighting for backup spots on the team’s depth chart.
Andre Davis, Deonte Thompson heating up training camp, fantasy surprises possible
Bills wide receivers Andre Davis and Deonte Thompson are impressing coaches at training camp. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: With Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Percy Harvin occupying the top three spots at the wide receiver position in Buffalo, Marcus Easley is likely to take up the fourth spot because he can offer the team speed and quickness in the special teams game. That means Davis and Thompson are competing for one spot. Coach Rex Ryan said that he’s been getting a lot of calls from other teams about Thompson. That’s probably because of his lightning quick speed. He can run the 40-yard dash in 4.31 seconds.
Either way, only one of these guys will be on Buffalo’s roster once Week 1 rolls around. Fantasy owners may end up taking a look at one of these guys if Percy Harvin goes down with an injury, something that’s happened several times over the last few years. Until that happens, however, both Davis and Thompson will probably be widely available on the waiver wire.
