Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton is moving up a notch on the team's depth chart due to the suspension of teammate Martavis Bryant. Bryant will miss the first four games of the regular season, assuming his pending appeal doesn't lead to a reduced penalty.
Markus Wheaton gets fantasy bump with Martavis Bryant suspension
Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton is about to see more action in the passing game to start the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Two years ago, Wheaton was all the hype in Pittsburgh: a young draft pick with athleticism and a ton of potential. Since that time he has under-performed greatly and thus fallen behind Bryant in the pecking order.
While Bryant is appealing his suspension, it’s rare that a penalty actually gets reduced. It’s even more difficult to imagine that penalties would be reduced for two players on the same team in the same year -- running back Le’Veon Bell’s two-game suspension was originally supposed to be three. Regardless, Wheaton’s worth a look for a flex spot in a deep league, just by virtue of the fact he will be getting more targets while Bryant is out.
