Toby Gerhart misses practice on Thursday, unlikely to start the fantasy season
Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart is dealing with an injury to his abs. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Gerhart began his career as a backup with the Minnesota Vikings and even though he’s experienced at this point in his career, he’s never been a bona fide starter in the NFL.
He can catch passes out of the backfield and has proved serviceable in carrying the ball, but there’s a good chance he won’t be out on the field on Sunday. That means Denard Robinson will serve as rookie T.J. Yeldon’s backup against the Panthers.
Fantasy owners probably didn’t have Gerhart on their radar to begin with, but now that he’s out, Robinson may be a worthy addition down the line should Yeldon struggle in his NFL debut.
