San Diego Chargers tight end Ladarius Green is apparently suffering from a concussion. In light of this (not yet officially confirmed) injury, the team has signed free agent tight end John Phillips, according to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Ladarius Green appears to be out with a concussion, fantasy status in limbo
Chargers tight end Ladarius Green appears to have suffered a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: While the team hasn’t officially announced that Green is hurt, the signing of Phillips indicates that it’s true.
Green had the fantasy value of a starting tight end coming into the season, but that’s only because veteran Antonio Gates is suspended for the first four games of 2015. Now that Ladarius will be out, the Chargers will be relatively thin at the tight end position. The newly signed Phillips only has 35 career catches in five NFL seasons.
Given that it looks like Green will be out for at least one week and he was only going to be the starter in San Diego for a maximum of four weeks in the first place, fantasy owners may want to consider moving on to a completely different team to find a fill-in.
