Randall Cobb limited in practice on Thursday, still ready for fantasy season
Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was a limited participant in practice on Thursday thanks to a shoulder injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Impact: With teammate Jordy Nelson sitting out the entire season thanks to a torn ACL, Cobb is going to be really busy in 2015. In leagues that reward receptions or kick return yards, he'll be all the more valuable.
Cobb is regarded as a tough player, so the fact that he’s not practicing much and appears to be committed to playing hurt isn’t a big deal. It won’t change his status as the team’s top receiver and it probably won’t even affect his production levels.
Fantasy owners are naturally going to feel a little bit nervous about one of the top draft picks in the game admittedly not being at 100 percent, but at the end of the day, Cobb is one of the best and he will make a great option on Sunday.
