Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson looks like a preseason favorite to be one of the steals in fantasy football. For owners who drafted running backs early, getting Robinson a few rounds later could be a boon to their lineups, as a perfect storm of sorts is forming in terms of his talent and opportunity.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Allen Robinson
The Jaguars’ No. 1 receiver could receive plenty of looks to begin the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

But in Week 1, versus the Carolina Panthers, Robinson's opponents provide him with additional chances to succeed. With defensive tackle Star Lotulelei ailing, Blake Bortles could have a cleaner pocket than usual to find Robinson, who may line up across from a secondary without cornerback Josh Norman. Neither have been officially ruled out, but it isn't a positive factor in favor of the Panthers.
Fantasy Spin: Robinson will also be counted upon to also provide a red zone presence with Julius Thomas sidelined, which is something many expect the big-bodied receiver to be able to do. With a heavy volume of targets likely coming his way, as well as these valuable looks near the goal line, Robinson is a WR2 with plenty of upside to begin the season. Fantasy owners can start him with confidence.
