It appears that fans will get a regular-season glimpse at what Devante Parker can bring to the Dolphins. We break down the fantasy implications.
It was speculated that Parker would miss time to begin the season after undergoing offseason foot surgery, but that no longer appears to be the case. Parker practiced at full capacity on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is listed on the injury report as “probable.”
Fantasy Spin: The extent to which Parker will play remains somewhat of a mystery. With progressively strong showings in practice, Parker may force the Dolphins’ hand and get more playing time instead of being simply eased into action.
For now, the depth chart at wide receiver is too cluttered to make sense of Parker’s usage just yet, but fantasy owners who got him in late rounds have to feel encouraged for his future. He is worth a stash in leagues of all formats and could be the Dolphins’ No. 1 receiver down the stretch of the season.
