Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson's first target Sunday looked pretty, a deep pass down the sidelines that could have gone for a touchdown. Instead, the receiver pulled up lame on the play, with a pulled hamstring that forced him from the game. Jackson didn't return in Washington's 17-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
DeSean Jackson injures hamstring; fantasy value slipping
The Washington wide receiver was hurt on his only target of Sunday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson was supposed to be the top target for quarterback Kirk Cousins. Instead, Cousins focused on wide receiver Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed. Garcon caught six of his eight targets for 74 yards, while Reed was targeted 11 times, catching seven for 63 yards and a score. The extent of Jackson's injury is not yet known, but he's regularly struggled with injuries in his career.
Fantasy impact: We’ll see how long Jackson is out, but it makes sense to at least prepare as though he’s out for multiple weeks. If so, Garcon and Reed obviously see increases in value. Reed becomes a solid TE1 for however long he can stay healthy, and Garcon vaults into flex consideration.
Behind those, Ryan Grant and Andre Roberts will see an increase in targets as well, though they don't really warrant much fantasy consideration until we see something.
