Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Rashad Greene got little talk in the preseason, but was the Jaguars' most targeted player in their season debut Sunday. Greene was productive before leaving with a concussion late in Jacksonville's 20-9 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Rashad Greene bursts onto fantasy radar, then gets injured
The rookie had a productive debut but suffered a concussion late. We break down the fantasy implications.

Greene was targeted 13 times in the game -- as many targets as any two other Jaguars combined. He caught seven of the passes for only 28 yards, but did score a touchdown. The team's other top wide receivers were Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson. Hurns caught five of his seven targets for 60 yards, while Robinson -- who briefly left with a knee injury of his own -- caught only one of his six targets, going for 27 yards.
Fantasy impact: Greene couldn’t have been owned on more than a handful of teams across all of fantasy entering Sunday. Had he not suffered his late concussion on the team’s final drive, Greene’s ownership might have risen dramatically. As it is, it’s a little-known wide receiver who had 28 yards on 13 targets on a bad team and has a concussion. Greene isn’t a real fantasy consideration until at least a big chunk of that phrase changes.
