Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton exited in the fourth quarter in Sunday's loss vs. the Buffalo Bills to get X-rays. Though the worst-case scenario seems to be avoided, the Colts' No. 1 receiver may miss some time.
T.Y. Hilton ‘day-to-day’ per report, Week 2 fantasy status unclear
The Colts may have to play Week 2 and beyond without their top receiver from 2014. We break down the fantasy implications.

Owner Jim Irsay told Fox59/CBS4’s Mike Chappell that he expects Hilton to miss a few weeks, although Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported Monday that Hilton is simply day-to-day. Hilton has been diagnosed with a bone contusion on his left knee, and his availability for Week 2 is ambiguous.
Fantasy Spin: It's shaping up to be another week for fantasy owners to be glued to injury reports once the Colts begin practicing on Wednesday. Should Hilton be unable to go, expect an uptick in targets for his supporting cast, although Donte Moncrief appears to be poised for the most significant increase in targets.
Moncrief was already in on 74 percent of the Colts’ snaps, and may force the team’s hand in throwing the ball his way after an uninspiring performance from Andre Johnson. Fantasy owners should keep Moncrief on speed dial for the time being, and those who own Hilton will have no choice but to keep their eyes and ears open for reports throughout the week.
