St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher surprised many when he listed wide receiver Brian Quick as an inactive on Sunday, despite not appearing on the injury report. It appears that Fisher is not inclined to rush Quick back into the lineup, either.
Brian Quick will ‘have to be patient’ to return to lineup, fantasy value dwindling
The St. Louis Rams were expected to be deeper at wide receiver in 2015 with the return of Brian Quick, but head coach Jeff Fisher is in no rush to activate him. We break down the fantasy implications.

“He’s just going to have to be patient,” Fisher said to Joe Lyons of the St. Louis Dispatch. “ He’s missed a lot of time. He’s coming.”
Quick missed all of 2014 due to a shoulder injury that required surgery and a lengthy recovery, and hasn't appeared in a football game since Oct. 26, 2014. Meanwhile, Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin are listed as the Rams' starting wide receivers.
Fantasy Spin: It doesn't look promising for fantasy owners who drafted Quick, expecting him to be the Rams' go-to guy. This could still remain the case later in the season, but for now, he isn't worth a roster spot in redraft leagues. Britt and Austin remain dart-throw WR4 options on Sunday versus a Washington secondary that will be without Chris Culliver.
