It was an lethargic afternoon for the Denver Broncos offense on Sunday, as Peyton Manning never grew comfortable in the pocket and pass catchers like Owen Daniels couldn't produce much as a result.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Owen Daniels
The Broncos’ tight end was quiet in Week 1 versus the Baltimore Ravens. Is a bounceback in the cards? We break down the fantasy implications.

Daniels was only targeted twice versus the Baltimore Ravens, and reeled-in both for a total of five yards. His former team covered the Broncos tightly and forced Manning to dink and dunk across the field, but Daniels wasn't involved too much in the game plan.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners who took a chance on Daniels can’t be faulted for wanting a piece of what was an elite Broncos offense in 2014. But with Manning not looking like himself from past years, there is growing concern of whether secondary and tertiary options in this offense can rise to fantasy relevance like they used to.
Daniels is not going to be a go-to guy in an offense that already has Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and C.J. Anderson, and if the Broncos can't become more efficient, owners may be better suited giving another tight end a chance to start in their lineups.
Daniels can be considered a middle of the pack TE2 for Thursday's bout with the Kansas City Chiefs.
