Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones will not practice Thursday, per ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
Julio Jones sits out Thursday with hamstring injury, will likely play Sunday for Falcons, fantasy owners
The star wide receiver was held out of practice for the second straight day. We break down the fantasy implications.

This is the second straight day Jones has been out, as head coach Dan Quinn made the decision to keep his star receiver out of action due to a hamstring injury. Quinn added that he has "no doubt" that Jones will be ready for Sunday when the Falcons take on the New York Giants, so the day of rest appears to be routine maintenance for their No. 1 wide receiver.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners will surely raise an eyebrow when Jones' name shows up on the practice report, especially when it's a hamstring injury keeping him out of action. Hamstring injuries have already hampered Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson this season, so it's fair to wonder how much—if at all—it would hold Jones back.
Even at less than 100 percent, it shouldn't cross the mind of fantasy owners to bench Jones at this point. He is an elite WR1 whose upside is far too great to ignore against a susceptible Giants defense, especially after abusing the Philadelphia Eagles secondary on national television. Injury reports have to be monitored closely throughout the week, but for now, Jones appears good to go. The true test of his status will come during Friday's practice.
