Jordan Reed limited in practice on Thursday, fantasy status uncertain
Washington tight end Jordan Reed has an issue with his quadriceps. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: While there is no official word on whether or not Reed will miss the team’s Week 2 match up against the St. Louis Rams, appearing on the injury report this late in the week is never a good thing. Especially in this case since he wasn’t on the injury report earlier in the week.
With DeSean Jackson already out for the next couple of weeks due to a pulled hamstring, Reed would be in line to see a ton of targets against the Rams should he be able to go. For now, fantasy owners will have to wait for a status update prior to Sunday’s game. If Reed can’t go, it makes Pierre Garçon the pass catcher to start in Washington, with veteran Andre Roberts also possessing some streaming value. As for the tight end position, Derek Carrier would replace Reed if he can play. Carrier has two career receptions.
