Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will be a game-time decision on Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints.
Mike Evans a ‘game-time decision’ for Buccaneers, fantasy owners
Mike Evans practiced all three days in preparation for Week 2’s showdown with the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rick Stroud of Tampa Bay Times added that despite Evans’ “questionable” designation, Buccaneers’ brass is leaning heavily toward starting their top wideout. Evans practiced all three days in preparation for this game, and declared earlier in the week that his hamstring is “100 percent.“
Fantasy Spin: The Buccaneers appear to be playing it cautious with Evans, as hamstring injuries are known to linger. Evans suffered his injury during the second week of preseason, but it appears the Bucs will take the training wheels off now that the team’s first divisional matchup looms.
Should Evans get the start, he is a solid WR2 with WR1 upside, and should be peppered with targets by rookie Jameis Winston. Against a suspect Saints secondary, there should be plenty of room for him to capitalize. Even at less than full strength, Evans has the talent to gash any team for big yardage.
