Miami Dolphins tight end Dion Sims is really making a great impression on the team's coaching staff, according to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson. Sims has been dubbed as a starting-caliber player at the position by coach Joe Philbin.
Dion Sims impresses in preseason, fantasy value on the rise
Miami Dolphins tight end Dion Sims is really impressing the coaching staff. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Philbin gave Sims credit for being able to do many different things well in training camp and he could get steady work blocking on rushing plays. That doesn't necessarily increase his fantasy value, but the fact teammate Jordan Cameron didn't do so well this preseason does.
Cameron has just two catches for six yards this summer. He managed just 24 catches and two touchdowns in 10 games last year. Although he only broke out as a fantasy stud two years ago, it's hard to imagine him excelling to 2013 production levels, even with a better passer in Ryan Tannehill at quarterback.
Fantasy owners probably won’t squeeze much fantasy value out of either Cameron or Sims early in the season, but it’s worth watching to see how things develop. Cameron’s career isn’t exactly drawing to a close just yet and Sims appears to be realizing some potential.
