One of the appealing things about Washington running back Alfred Morris in recent years is that, while he might not have the upside of some of his peers, he had little-to-no competition for touches in the Washington backfield, so you knew he'd have quantity. After what rookie Matt Jones did Sunday in Washington's 24-10 win over the St. Louis Rams, things might be changing.
Matt Jones erupts, frustrates Alfred Morris fantasy owners

Jones, who only had six carries and 28 yards in Week 1, more than tripled his usage in Week 2. He ran the ball 19 times for 123 yards and two scores, adding three receptions for 23 yards. He did lose a fumble, but overall he managed 24 fantasy points. Morris, meanwhile, had 18 carries -- one fewer than Jones -- for 59 yards, and caught two passes for 13 more.
Fantasy impact: For now, this is a bit of a pump-the-brakes situation: Morris is still going to be Washington’s lead back, with Jones more typically serving as a backup/rest guy. But having shown he can do this, he’s going to get more looks than he did in Week 1. Washington might be becoming a timeshare -- one that is Morris-heavy to be sure, but one that will have a productive Jones involved as well.
