The Arizona Cardinals don't seem to need to figure much out after a hot 2-0 start, but losing Andre Ellington to a sprained MCL for multiple weeks has their backfield in flux.
David Johnson expected to get more work, fantasy value still dormant
The Cardinals’ rookie running back keeps making splash plays and may get an increased workload as a result. We break down the fantasy implications.

Chris Johnson was the lead dog in Week 2's thrashing of the Chicago Bears, but azcentral sports' Kent Somers reports that rookie David Johnson's role should increase in Week 3.
Johnson has been forcing the coaching staff’s hand this season after already recording three touchdowns in his first two games. In Week 2, the younger Johnson took a kick return 108 yards to the house, and added a 13-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
Fantasy Spin: Unfortunately, this report isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. All Somers said was that David Johnson's role should increase, and there's plenty of room to come up from playing in just 16 snaps on Sunday. Technically, the rookie could play in 20 and that would constitute an increased workload.
For now, David Johnson remains a stash in deep leagues, and though he's had a promising start to his career, owners shouldn't be looking to force him into their lineups anytime soon. Chris Johnson remains a fringe RB2/RB3 in Ellington's absence.
