Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson has been sluggish to start the season, and there's a chance he could be in danger of losing his grasp on starting duties in the backfield.
C.J. Anderson may have ‘one more game’ to prove fantasy value, per report
The Broncos need to get more out of their feature back if he’s going to keep his starting job. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Denver Post's Troy E. Renck said on Monday that Anderson will likely have "one more game" to prove himself worthy of carrying the load going forward, despite several factors working against him. Anderson has carried the ball 24 times for 56 yards this season and has battled toe and ankle injuries behind a lethargic offensive line. Anderson hasn't been making people miss, and has lost time to Ronnie Hillman in the process.
Fantasy impact: This is not what Anderson’s owners anticipated after spending early-round picks to have him in their lineups. Fortunately, if Anderson’s awful production has been the product of his health, he gets half of a bye week to prepare for his “last chance” after coming off of a Thursday night game.
Anderson remains a risky RB2 for Sunday's bout with the Detroit Lions, and if he doesn't make the most of his chance, his value may not see a higher point going forward.
