Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller is not practicing Wednesday, and is considered "day-to-day," according to Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.
Lamar Miller sits Wednesday practice, fantasy status unclear for Sunday
The Dolphins gave their feature back a rest day due to an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miller injured his ankle in Week 2's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but did not seem concerned by it at the time. The Dolphins may be, however, considering that they promoted Jonas Gray from the practice squad to the active roster on Tuesday.
Fantasy impact: While promoting Gray isn’t a good sign for Miller’s availability, it’s also not enough to be a damning one either. Fantasy owners will have to monitor Miller’s status closely as Sunday approaches and hope that the gets back into action either Thursday or Friday.
Miller has a stout matchup on the horizon with the Buffalo Bills' swarming front seven, which wouldn't be ideal even for a running back at 100 percent. Miller can be considered a mid-to-low-end RB2 if he plays, as would backup Damien Williams if Miller sits out.
