Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is practicing Wednesday, per Star-Telegram's Clarence Hill.
Jason Witten practicing Wednesday, will be a TE1 for Week 3
The Cowboys have dealt with a laundry list of losses in the young 2015 season, but Jason Witten isn’t among them. We break down the fantasy implications.

It’s more than just a bit of a shock that Witten is taking the field so early in the week, especially considering that he is dealing with two sprained ankles and a sprained knee at 33 years of age. Wednesdays would typically be used as an off day for veterans who are banged up, but not Witten.
Fantasy impact: This is a big indicator that Witten will be ready to go for Sunday's bout with the Atlanta Falcons. Even though the perennial Pro Bowler is less than 100 percent, the Cowboys will need all hands on deck to compensate for the absences of Dez Bryant and Tony Romo.
Witten led the Cowboys with eight targets in Week 2, which would not be a surprising trend to continue as long as Bryant is out of the lineup. If Witten takes the field, he is a TE1, and there isn’t any reason to think he won’t be for Week 3.
