Update (Wednesday, 2:25 p.m. ET): Head coach Bill O’Brien does not expect Foster to play on Sunday, per Drew Dougherty of Texans TV.
Arian Foster practices on Wednesday, fantasy status unlikely for Sunday
The Texans’ feature back practiced again on Wednesday after spending much of the summer inactive. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster practiced with the team on Wednesday, according to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson.
Foster returned to practice last Thursday in preparation for Week 2's game against the Carolina Panthers, but was never expected to take the field.
His status isn’t as clear cut this time around, as Foster could be a true game-time decision, based on how his practices in the week leading up to Sunday’s game go.
Foster missed most of the summer due to a groin tear.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners can’t expect head coach Bill O’Brien to tip his hand before he has to, meaning Foster’s status will likely be a mystery throughout the week.
In the meantime, fantasy owners need to have him on standby in case he is able to go on Sunday. Should Foster take the field, he is squarely in the RB2 conversation agains the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If Foster sits, the three-headed attack of Chris Polk, Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes will take the snaps, but none of the three are worth fantasy consideration.
