Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was a full participant in practice on Thursday and should be ready to start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, according to beat writer Mike Rodak. McCoy hasn’t missed any game action even though he’s been hurt since the preseason.
LeSean McCoy practices in full on Thursday, should be healthy for fantasy owners
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy practiced in full on Thursday after taking Wednesday off. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: If his last season with the Philadelphia Eagles and his first two games as a member of the Buffalo Bills proves anything, it’s that McCoy is no longer a top-notch fantasy running back.
He did rush for 89 yards on 15 carries last week, but in a game that saw a total of 72 points scored, McCoy failed to find the end zone against the New England Patriots. On the other hand, teammate Karlos Williams has scored in both of the team’s games so far this season.
Fantasy owners can still start McCoy in their second running back slot with the understanding that Williams will occasionally eat into his touches closer to the goal line. For now it seems like both running backs will get their fair share of work, with the volume slightly tilted towards McCoy.
