Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery did not participate in Thursday's portion of practice open to the media, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.
Alshon Jeffery sits Thursday, fantasy value remains dormant
The Bears’ No. 1 receiver continues to battle health issues. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery sat out Sunday's game after aggravating a hamstring injury that hampered him throughout training camp. Jeffery was severely limited in Week 1 and has been subsequently held out of practice since preparing for Week 2. As of now, there isn't much reason to believe he will suit up on Sunday when the Bears take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy impact: This is turning into a nightmare scenario for the Bears in Week 3, and kickoff hasn't even happened yet. Jay Cutler could be out, as is the case with Jeffery, potentially leaving backup Jimmy Clausen to search for targets at a venue where the swarming Seahawks defense has lost just two games over the past three seasons.
If Jeffery takes the field at less than 100 percent, he can't be considered anything other than a low-end WR3 amid such awful circumstances. If he sits, Martellus Bennett and Matt Forte should be peppered with targets, although they won't be expected to make much of them this week.
