Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker returned to practice on Thursday, according to beat writer Terry McCormick. Walker suffered a wrist injury in the team’s Week 1 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had been sidelined until now.
Delanie Walker returns to practice, expected to make fantasy return sooner rather than later
Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is back at practice and itching to play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Walker had three catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in the season’s opening game. Although the output wasn’t much relative to the team’s 42 points in that game, he’s one of the few reliable passing options the Titans have.
Teammate Kendall Wright is the best bet to lead the passing attack on the outside, but given that the Titans don’t have much of a running game, Walker will be a safety valve for the team down the middle all year long. Fantasy football owners should look to add Walker if they’re really in need of an option. He hasn’t officially confirmed he’s playing but it looks like he’ll give it a go.
