Editor’s note: Adam Schefter is reporting Murray is telling people he will play, but wants to test the hamstring pre-game.
DeMarco Murray will play Sunday for Eagles, fantasy owners, per report
The Eagles won’t have to have a shorthanded backfield on Sunday when they take on the New York Jets. We break down the fantasy implications.

Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray will play on Sunday, per ESPN's Ashley Fox.
Murray injured his hamstring during Wednesday’s practice session and was held out on Thursday as a result. Despite the missed time, and even if he misses practice on Friday, it appears that head coach Chip Kelly will deploy his starting running back in Week 3 with his team in an 0-2 rut.
Fantasy impact: It's the first good news that's come out of Eagles camp in a while, but Murray's fantasy owners aren't exactly looking forward to Sunday. The New York Jets have a swarming defense and a stout front seven that shut down an offense helmed by Andrew Luck on Monday night.
Murray, who will likely be less than 100 percent and amid a horrendous matchup, can’t be considered anything more than a low-end RB2 for Sunday. Fantasy owners should remain tuned in to injury reports until Sunday, but it appears that he will see the field.
