Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman has been ruled out for Sunday's game, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Tevin Coleman will not play Sunday for Falcons, fantasy owners, per report
As expected, the Falcons will not enlist Tevin Coleman’s services on Sunday due to a rib injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

There were reports earlier in the week that Coleman could play through his rib injury, and while this remains true, it won't happen for Week 3's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. Devonta Freeman will start in Coleman's place, with Terron ward also getting work.
Fantasy impact: Per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s D. Orlando Ledbetter, Coleman’s return will ultimately come down to pain management, since his fractured rib is not displaced. Ledbetter added that the first two to four weeks are extremely painful, but it’s a more positive prognosis than Coleman’s initial one of four to six weeks. Fantasy owners will need to monitor his status closely in the team’s subsequent injury reports.
Coleman will be in RB2 territory once he returns to form, but in the meantime, Freeman can be considered a volume-dependent flex option. It isn’t out of the realm of possibility for the Falcons to go pass-heavy in Coleman’s absence.
