The Texans got welcome news at practice on Friday, but it’s still unclear if their No. 1 receiver will suit up on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hopkins missed Wednesday and Thursday's sessions due to a concussion, however, he played through the final series of Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers. It's unclear if Hopkins will be available to take the field for Week 3's battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and will likely be a game-time decision.
Fantasy impact: If Hopkins is cleared, he is a must-start, but his status is about as murky as one could be on a Friday afternoon. Fortunately, for Hopkins’ fantasy owners, the Texans kick off at 1 p.m. ET and will have the pick of the litter of contingency options if he can’t go.
Cecil Shorts and Nate Washington would pick up the slack in the receiving game, but neither are more than desperate flex plays for owners who have thin rosters out of the gate. Hopkins is on pace for 112 catches, 1,208 yards and 16 touchdowns.
