Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman is still struggling with a knee injury and he may very well end up on the sidelines to start the regular season, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. Perriman will likely line up across Steve Smith Sr. as the team’s second wideout on the depth chart when he’s ready to go.
Breshad Perriman a question mark for Week 1, fantasy debut will have to wait
Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman could very well be on the sidelines for Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: His sprained PCL just isn’t coming along as quickly as the team would hope. While every game certainly counts for something in the NFL’s regular season, it’s probably best not to rush Perriman at this point.
Baltimore typically hasn’t been the place to go looking for a star fantasy pass catcher with Joe Flacco at quarterback, but Perriman should be able to outpace what a guy like Torrey Smith was able to accomplish last season. The Ravens certainly have high hopes for their young receiver.
Fantasy owners should stash Perriman for a later date. Rookies are generally a high-risk, high-reward proposition in fantasy leagues, but the upside of the top ones can definitely outweigh potential risks. That’s particularly true in Baltimore, where Steve Smith Sr. is calling it quits after this season. Somebody is going to have to come along quickly this season to support him. It might as well be Perriman.
