Darren Sproles to be more involved in the offense this year, fantasy value up a notch
Eagles running back Darren Sproles should see consistent touches in the offense this season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Sproles is a versatile, dynamic and lightening quick talent who proved in his first season with the team last year that he still has plenty left in the tank. Coach Chip Kelly will most definitely give more touches to DeMarco Murray in the run game, but Sproles could catch up in that department based on his role in the special teams unit and the passing game.
Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said prior to the start of the season that the team plans to get him the ball more consistently and there’s no reason not to, especially when the team has trouble moving the ball to a really young group of receivers.
Fantasy owners should draft Sproles and start him depending on the scoring settings of the league. Formats that reward receptions and return yards make Sproles a sneaky stud. Conversely, any leagues with both of those options absent relegate the veteran to the waiver wire in deep leagues.
