Speaking Wednesday, head coach Rex Ryan indicated that one of his top receivers could be held out of action on Sunday due to an injury.
Rex Ryan ‘not sure’ if Sammy Watkins will play Sunday for Bills, fantasy owners
Sammy Watkins strained his calf during Week 3’s win, and might be held out of action on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ryan said "I'm not sure" when asked if Sammy Watkins would play vs. the New York Giants, who travel to Orchard Park on Sunday. Watkins strained his calf early in Week 3's blowout win over the Miami Dolphins, and was on the sideline in street clothes throughout the second half.
Watkins will not practice with the Bills on Wednesday, and it remains to be seen if he will be well enough to warrant his coaches suiting him up for a non-conference game.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners will have to remain glued to the injury reports in the coming days, as there is a real chance Watkins could be sidelined. The good news is that if he is, fantasy owners won’t have to waste a starting slot like they did in Week 3 when Watkins exited so early.
Expect an uptick in targets for Percy Harvin and Robert Woods if Watkins can't go, but the likelihood is that the Bills will want to ground and pound with Karlos Williams. If Watkins practices and plays, he's no more than a WR3.
