It had been reported that Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson could return Week 4 to face the Philadelphia Eagles, but his status for Sunday remains ambiguous.
DeSean Jackson sits practice on Wednesday, fantasy owners continue to wait
DeSean Jackson could return Week 4 to play his former team, but he’ll have to get onto the practice field first. We break down the fantasy implications.

Per the Washington Post's Master Tesfatsion, Jackson was not seen at Wednesday's practice. Jackson exited early in Week 1 after straining his hamstring on a go pattern and has subsequently been held out of action ever since. If Jackson remains sidelined, Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed will remain atop the pecking order in Washington's receiving game, with Jamison Crowder and Chris Thompson in the mix as well.
Fantasy impact: Jackson has made mincemeat of his former team in his only two meetings against them, catching nine passes for 243 yards and a touchdown over those contests. One performance came with quarterback Kirk Cousins at the helm, who targeted Jackson 11 times. Should Jackson get the nod on Sunday, he will be on the WR2 radar.
But before Jackson’s owners pen him into their lineups, they will have to monitor injury reports throughout the week. It’s not a red flag that Jackson didn’t practice Wednesday, but it he sits on Thursday, eyebrows should begin to raise.
