Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray sat out Sunday's victory over the New York Jets with a hamstring injury, but started out on the right track during the next week of practice.
DeMarco Murray practices Wednesday, status for Eagles, fantasy owners still unclear
The Eagles’ starting running back made positive strides by returning to practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Murray practiced at a limited capacity on Wednesday, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane. It’s worth mentioning that Murray practiced at full capacity on Friday preceding the Jets game, but was still held out of game action. It remains unknown whether Murray will suit up for Week 4, but practicing Wednesday is always a step in the right direction.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners will once again have to closely monitor injury reports and press conferences to determine whether Murray is worth a start. Murray will speak to the media on Thursday, where more information should be available.
If Murray can't go, Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles, who each scored touchdowns in Murray's absence, will split backfield duties. Both are worth flex consideration if Murray sits, and if Murray plays, he can be considered a volume-dependent RB2.
