Jacksonville tight end Julius Thomas has yet to make his Jaguars debut due to a finger injury, and it appears he will miss even more time than initially expected.
Julius Thomas not cleared to play, per report, remains stashed on fantasy benches
The Jaguars will still have to play the waiting game, as Thomas remains sidelined. We break down the fantasy implications

It had been reported that Thomas would return Week 4, but Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports that Thomas has not been cleared since injuring his hand Aug. 14 in a preseason game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Thomas told O’Halloran:
“The good news is, no bad news,” Thomas said in the Jaguars’ locker room today. “But no dates [to return], no nothing. Just waiting to get cleared.”
Fantasy Spin: The wait continues for Thomas, who scored 12 touchdowns in both 2014 and 2013 while amid a formidable offense with the Denver Broncos. Fantasy owners knew they wouldn't likely see that production in Jacksonville, but being a red-zone weapon in an offense that could use plenty outside of Allen Robinson is one worth taking a chance on.
Thomas will be on the TE1 radar upon his return, but unfortunately, that appears to still be weeks away.
