Buffalo Bills wide receiver Robert Woods is listed as questionable for Sunday’s Week 8 game against the New England Patriots. Woods is battling a foot injury and was limited in practice this week.
Robert Woods injury update: Bills WR questionable vs. Patriots
Woods got in limited practice time and is expected to be ready for the Bills’ game against the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

Woods suffered the foot injury in Week 6 and sat out last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. He returned to practice early this week, getting in limited sessions. He’s tentatively expected to play, although how many snaps he gets is an open question. Woods has 25 catches for 240 yards and a touchdown in six games this season, serving as the default No. 1 receiver after Sammy Watkins hit injured reserve.
Fantasy impact: The Bills’ receiver depth chart is dangerously thin, with Marquise Goodwin in the concussion protocol and already ruled out for Week 8. If Woods does play, he’ll likely be on a snap count, because Buffalo can’t afford to let him aggravate the foot injury. Even when healthy, Woods is a low-ceiling player in fantasy football and doesn’t have much value against the Patriots’ defense. He can be safely avoided in all fantasy leagues until he’s fully healthy.
