Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson was a spectator at the team’s practice Wednesday, according to Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post. Earlier that day, head coach Jay Gruden announced via Washington’s twitter feed that Jackson injured his knee and ankle in the third quarter against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. Jackson was able to finish the game. There is no indication that Jackson will be unavailable for Washington’s matchup against division foe New York Giants Sunday. Jackson has had nine catches for 142 yards in the first two games of the season.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson’s injury does not seem be serious. He did not leave the game Sunday against Dallas and Gruden failed to mention anything about Jackson being hurt in his press conference Monday. Though it is a little early to tell, there is no indication that the speedster will be unavailable for owners in Week 3 against the Giants. Jackson’s biggest setback at the moment looks to be miscues from quarterback Kirk Cousins.
