Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett told the media that wide receiver Dez Bryant has a hairline fracture in his knee and is day-to-day, according to beat writer Cam Inman. Bryant hurt his knee on the opening drive of the Cowboy’s Week 3 blowout win over the Chicago Bears Sunday night. The Pro Bowler continued to play through the injury, but his abilities were noticeably limited. He was able to score a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Dez Bryant set to sit out Cowboys practice Wednesday, questionable for fantasy owners
The Dallas Cowboys’ top deep threat isn’t practicing Wednesday as he awaits MRI results. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bryant requested the MRI after apparently further tweaking his knee during the game. His initial X-rays came back negative. Bryant is questionable to play in Sunday’s meeting with the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant is not having an explosive start to the 2016 season, and some owners may have already elected to downgrade him to a WR2. The veteran wideout seems to be much more concerned than the Cowboys about the severity of his knee injury, but it turnout he had good reason. Bryant ability to play Sunday is still anyone’s guess at this point. Should he be out, Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams will see more action.
