Freeman may have suffered the concussion during practice on Sunday. It’s notable that he’s already been ruled out of the next game, which takes place next Sunday, but perhaps the Falcons are just being cautious with their newly paid running back.
Fantasy impact: There’s no indication that Freeman’s Week 1 status is in jeopardy, so fantasy owners shouldn’t panic when adjusting their draft boards. Tevin Coleman will get the start in his place and is a good DFS option even with limited snaps, given his big-play ability. He’ll be backed on the depth chart by Brian Hill, Terron Ward, and B.J. Daniels, who are all dart throws at bottom-bin prices.
