You had to believe this was coming.

Formula 1 races are hotspots for celebrities, and last weekend’s British Grand Prix was certainly no exception. The grid was full of fame, including Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson perhaps breaking a bit of F1 news, and Queen guitarist — and noted astrophysicist — Brian May waving the checkered flag.

But the Mother of Dragons was also in attendance.

Emilia Clarke was among those celebrities at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, and as soon as she was spotted many were wondering if something like this would happen.

McLaren made it so:

That’s right, there’s Clarke ushering the noted “Dracarys” command made famous during her turn on Game of Thrones, the High Valyrian command that translates to “dragonfire,” that Clarke’s character Daenerys Targaryen would issue to her dragons so that Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion would unleash fire on her enemies.

Or, in this case, fire up one of McLaren’s MCL38s.

Now we await any potential House of the Dragon x F1 crossovers.
