The start of a Formula 1 season means new drivers, new teammates, new hopes and dreams for teams and their fans, and so much more.

It also means a new set of “Opening Titles” for the sport itself.

The Opening Titles begin each event during a race weekend, a quick video featuring each driver that soon becomes a focal point for the new season. On Thursday ahead of the 2025 season-opening Australian Grand Prix F1 unveiled this year’s edition, and fans immediately noticed the return of an iconic pose from two seasons ago.

George Russell’s “T-Pose.”

First used in the 2023 edition of the Opening Titles, Russell brought the iconic stance back for this year’s installment:

Other moments that may become iconic from this year’s edition? Carlos Sainz Jr. paying tribute to his incredible hair; the closeup of Fernando Alonso — the oldest driver on the grid — and the immediate transition to Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the youngest; rookie driver Oliver Bearman and the flash cut to teammate Esteban Ocon; and of course, the first Opening Titles with Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari red.

You can catch the Opening Titles again later tonight ahead of the first practice session in Melbourne. The 2025 F1 season begins this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix.
