The Good Good Championship will debut at Barton Creek in 2026

It was announced on Monday morning that the Good Good Championship, the first PGA Tour tournament from Good Good Golf, is set to debut at Barton Creek in 2026. This is a rather big deal in the world of golf at large.
Good Good has become among the most visible and recognizable names in the world of golf since storming onto the scene a handful of years ago. They are as synonymous with golf as anyone in the creative space is. This partnership with the PGA Tour is significant, it is a multi-year agreement to be clear, as it is the first-ever sponsorship of a professional event for the brand.
“This tournament is designed to amalgamate our social and live communities together, across all demographics that are passionate about golf. We couldn’t ask for better partners in the PGA TOUR and Omni Hotels & Resorts, who not only appreciate our ethos but embrace it.” -Matt Kendrick, founder and CEO of Good Good Golf
It is clear that this will allow the PGA Tour to lean even more into the creative space that Good Good has thrived in while having an event at an elite venue. The inaugural version of the tournament will take place during the week of November 9th through 15th, 2026, and it will feature a field size of 120 players. 500 FedExCup points will be awarded to the winner.
An actual PGA Tour event from Good Good is a seismic leap forward in a lot of ways for their company, golf as a sport, and content creation on the internet in every single capacity.
It will be fascinating to watch next year.
