Scottie Scheffler will make his 2026 debut at the American Express in California, according to multiple reports. Adam Scott and Matthew Fitzpatrick will also be in attendance which is sure to make things all the more awesome. We are just two weeks away from the event beginning.

The world number one and reigning PGA Champion and Open Champion of the Year actually committed to both the American Express and WM Phoenix Open. It feels like forever ago, but it was in Arizona back four years ago now when Scottie won for the first time and everything as we know it in golf changed.

While this is Scheffler’s start to the season the PGA Tour season at large will begin a week before he tees it up. The Sony Open in Hawaii kicks the season off next week and that is followed by the American Express. The Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines is between that and the Waste Management so it appears Scottie is already getting specific about his schedule in the early part of the season.

Ever since his WM win back in 2022 we have asked and wondered how he could top each year that he has had, but Scottie has always found a way. What could 2026 possibly have in store?

We will find out in two week’s time.
