WTGL is off to an incredible start.

TMRW Sports announced on Thursday that Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures is Lead Capital Partner for the upcoming league.

Morgan has an investment group that includes fellow U.S. soccer starts of her including Mia Hamm and Abby Wambach. It should come as no surprise that she would want to get involved in the growth and development of women’s golf as she has expressed her love and admiration for the game many times, even while still an active player for U.S. soccer.

On the subject, Morgan is a limited partner in a TGL team in Los Angeles Golf Club. Having her involvement in WTGL makes sense for all parties involved and she is now one of the faces of things as far as those processes are concerned.

It would make sense for Morgan to appear at a TGL match soon enough to continue the build-up around all of this. We will see whether or not that happens.
