Jeeno Thitikul is a winner already this season.

The number one golfer in the world won at the 2026 Honda LPGA Thailand and the victory marked the earliest one that she has ever had in a season in her career. It is her third win in her last five starts so her number one in the world status is fairly well-earned.

Thitikul finished 24-under par at Siam Country Club, Old Course in her home country of Thailand. Something noteworthy about the victory is that it marked Thitikul’s first win at the Honda LPGA Thailand, the only event held in her native country.

It was Thitikkul’s eighth overall win of her LPGA Tour career. She is coming off of a 2025 season where she won the Rolex Player of the Year and does not appear intent on slowing down at all.

This LPGA Tour season is only two events old, but they have been won by Thitikul and Nelly Korda, the top two golfers in the world. As Justin Ray noted thi sis the first time since the Rolex Rankings began that the top pair of world-ranked golfers have won the first two events of a season.

Charley Hull is currently number three in the world for anyone curious!
