Boston Common Golf will have the number one overall seed in the upcoming TGL playoffs.

Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, and Hideki Matsuyama clinched the top seed on Sunday night as Boston Common defeated Jupiter Links in primetime. It took overtime for Boston to finally get it done, but a win is a win.

The number one seed in TGL playoffs earns the right to host the lowest seed per most playoff brackets. Four of the league’s six squads make the playoffs so whoever the final seed is will be who Boston “hosts” at the SoFi Center.

McIlroy’s squad did not even make the playoffs during their inaugural campaign last year and now find themselves as the proverbial team to beat. Rory himself is now fully and totally at the center of the golfing world as his team is having this success as he gets set to return to Augusta as a Masters Champion for the first time to play the even tin short order.
