It is officially the month of March which is fantastic news for sports fans everywhere.

While the Super Bowl was already “last month” we are at place where “this month” will bring March Madness, the return of Major League Baseball, more intense NBA and NHL situations, and plenty more.

As far as the world of golf is concerned The Players is next week which is not a major (a sensitive subject these days), but it is a proper set up for the first one of the year in The Masters. This stretch of time last year saw Rory McIlroy completely change his life as he won at Sawgrass and eventually Augusta, and “next month” he will return to the land of azaleas as a defending champion.

‘Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait’ will chronicle the whole thing

It was announced on Wednesday that March 30th will bring Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait, a documentary set to premiere on Prime Video.

You can watch the trailer below.

This documentary is set to debut in over 240 countries which makes sense given how Rory’s victory was a worldwide phenomenon. His long wait, the title is perfect in this sense, transcended golf and rippled into the collective world of sports. It will always be one of those things that people remember for the rest of their lives.

It goes without saying that this documentary will be quite epic. All of the sports leading up to it will be wonderful, and then this will set the stage for the actual Masters.

Best time of the year.
