The great Connecticut area is about to get more exciting.

Soon enough, two weeks from today as a matter of fact, Mohegan Sun Golf Club (MSGC) will reopen for the 2026 season. MSGC is located in Baltic, Connecticut for anyone unaware (you shouldn’t be).

There are several improvements that have been made in an effor tto improve pace of play and course flow while maintaining the elements that have long made Mohegan what it is and one of the more impressive tracks in the area.

The multi-million dollar renovation that Mohegan has undergone was led by renowned architect Ron Garl and has put the club in position to host upcoming events like the CSGA Senior Match Play Championship as well as a Connecticut Mid-Amateur Qualifier. Both events will take place later this summer.

As far as specifics that were a part of the renovation:

  • Strategic bunker reduction
  • Selective tree removal to help sightlines and add sunlight
  • New design elements on holes 3, 6, and 11 specifically
  • New systems from irrigation and drainage standpoints
  • Upgraded cart paths along the course

It should be an incredible time and it is all accessible starting April 15th.
